Not Knowing

The thought of not knowing can be unsettling, but the idea that we know anything is beyond comprehension. It has been proven that the more we know, the less we truly know. Once we break through all the labels that the Ego has attached to, we are left with nothingness. It is in nothingness that all creation exists. The question is not whether we can shed light on the darkness, but if  darkness even exists. Breaking through the many layers of the Ego mind, we deduce to nothing. Is there darkness or is there merely absence of light?

Silently I sit
Waiting for the day to begin
No one speaks
Only my inner voice.
The wanderers enter
Aimlessly scattered.

The sound of the morning bell
Smells of morning-glory.
Everyone huddles
Around the pot of gold.
Wrapping my hands
Around that first cup
The day begins.

Sound of the gong,
Everyone files in place.
Second gong,
Everyone sits.
Circled,
Silent,
We bow and great the day.

The Mondo begins…

Who are you?

Joseph

Who are you?

A Radiation Therapist

Who are you?

A Father,

A husband,

A friend.

Yes, but beneath that who are you?

A Divine being,

Who is Loved.

Beyond that who are you?

Silence…

The chess game continues,

Until all that remains is nothing.

One more question…who are you?

Silence…

…Not Knowing.

Stepping into the Canvas with clear openness to all things and ideas. For it is in the vast openness, we find a narrow gate. The more ‘all-inclusive’ we become, the more Love unconditional we emit. Emitting Love unconditionally, it repays the favor. We can choose to be a Canvas within a frame and remain bound by our own set boundaries or we can be frame-less, having no boundaries to our existence.

Witness

My heart is split in two,

Bleeding for those in need.

So many lost,

So much pain.

I can help and can change the world.

Shine light, spreading Love wherever I go.

I must merely witness…

…pain and offer a hand.

…struggle and offer a solution.

…lost and offer the way.

…anger and offer them Peace.

…Darkness and offer the light.

…weak and offer them strength.

…evil and offer them good.

Just as Job learned, I have learned patience.

Be patient and those who wish…will come for help.

Those who come to you…open your arms and embrace them.

Embrace them and show them that Love is the answer!
