Cleansing Morning Song

Cleansing Morning Song

When the heart calls us to sing

Little Manitou Falls taken by Author

There is a place of no names
No faces
No segregation
No labels.

There are no pens to write
No brushes to paint
No Canvas to create
A place of darkness
A place without void or form.

Not for the faint-hearted
For there is nothing.

No quad shot four pump venti lattes
No…just nothing.

No music
No sound
No…just nothing.

For there is a thought which emerges, allowing a reality to exist
A thought that fuels a whole cosmos into form
It is the place of knowing the center is within, and possibilities are endless.

Within the darkness, we retreat to a brighter place
Beginning with a spark…exploding into a raging fire.

Let it be so.

Stepping into the Canvas with no thoughts…but one. An idea or thought that meets at a level of the heart. May this thought transform into song, transmuting all into gratitude and joy, intention and action. Through our song, we emerge in an eternal bliss of happiness. Not a destination but a place of being. The question is not where the thought came from or where the idea began…it just is — like an early Sunday Morning.

This past Sunday, while sitting and waiting to return north for the final four weeks of my current assignment, I just sat there with no thoughts — then a song emerged, and I began to sing. Please enjoy this song and listen as you read again. Does the feeling change? Is there a shift in thought? What comes to mind?

“Cleansing Morning” sung by Author

Much gratitude for those who take time to read, ponder, and allow the inner workings of self to come forward. Grateful for the feedback, love shared, and, more importantly, the Dance with Inspiration. Deep Peace.

Feel the Feeling

Poetry | Quieting the mind

Feel the Feeling

Then letting it go

Photo taken by Author at Pattison State Park

Sit quietly,
but for a moment.
Close your eyes,
all you see.

Quiet the mind,
and the 10,000 things.
Enter the feeling,
present moment.

Can you let it go?

Breathe in,
breathe out.

What comes forth,
visionary influx.
Feel this feeling,
present moment.

Can you let it go?

Imagine blissful,
scenery,
a favorite of the sort.

Can you let it go?

Pain,
suffering,
destructive realities.

Breathe in,
breathe Out.

Can you let it go?

With every thought,
feeling presents.

Can you let it go?

Joy,
bliss,
ecstasy.
Feel the feeling,
be present.

Can you let it go?

All things,
of matter and inanimate.
Exist in the mind,
materialized reality.

Can you let it go?
