Something in the Blood

Something in the Blood

Ignited Fire in the belly

We didn’t come this far to bow — to silence nor sorrow.
There’s something in the blood — feral, unyielding — a rhythm that refuses to hush.

Every setback taught us — tensile snap of bending without breaking.
We’ve swallowed storms — worn grief like armor, and still — we rise,
cracked open but luminous.

We speak in the dialect of scar tissue — not bitter, but fluent
in what it means to keep breathing — air burning thin.

Look —

the horizon doesn’t wait for permission.

It erupts.

So we chase — fists full of light — mouths full of names we refuse to forget.
Hope isn’t soft — it’s sinew.

It’s bootprints in frozen mud — a pulse beneath the rubble — a shout through teeth clenched against the wind.

We are not fragile things.

We are forged.

And tonight — stars blinking in approval — dragging our stories,
still burning — into the next dawn. Something of — fiery rhythm — Blood Remains.

Much gratitude to those who take the time to read, ponder, and allow the inner workings of themselves to come forward. Grateful for the feedback, love shared, and, more importantly, the Dance with Inspiration. Deep Peace.

Mirrored Dance Within

Mirrored Dance Within

Spirit shining brightly

Created with CGDream

The struggle persists between Brother Sun and Sister Moon, mirroring the eternal dance of Ego and Spirit.

The Sun and Moon are part of the vast blue ocean, while Ego and Spirit navigate the tainted seas.

It is not a matter of one triumph over the other but of how they coexist harmoniously. We are lost without the serene glow of moonlit skies, just as we are adrift without the guiding light of the Sun.

I cannot reject the Ego, as it is an intrinsic part of who I am. Instead, I must embrace it as I cherish the Spirit that burns brightly within me. I will honor both the Ego and the Spirit as equals while remaining mindful of the choices each inspires.

Much like the Sun and Moon unite to light the heavens, the Ego and Spirit collaborate to illuminate our path. The celestial pair fills the skies above while their earthly counterparts enrich our Heaven on Earth.

The Sun and Moon are all-encompassing yet distinct, just as the Ego and Spirit encompass our being while retaining their individuality.
I cannot deny either, for both have a purpose, as both light the way forward.

I am grateful to Brother Sun and Sister Moon for their guidance, but even more so to Brother Ego and Sister Spirit for showing me the way within.

With reverence to the Siblings of Night and Day, I cast aside the divisive thoughts and embrace the harmony and balance within and around me.
