The Final Countdown

The Final Countdown

Is it to early to start?

Getting lost in the world around us, through mystery and awe, we find ourselves at the center of all there is.

Walking a narrow path with pain (past) and bliss (future possibilities) in each hand. Arms stretched out…No longer attached to past or future but aware (present). We call upon Mother Earth, we call to the Sky People, we call to inner self — shining as bright as the Sun. Breathing in new possibilities, Breathing out what was. Breathing in new Possibility, Breathing a New Frickin’ Galaxy.

Today, I sit quietly, looking out over the frozen bay. Time has flown, time is fleeting, and my time here is coming close. The feeling is bittersweet, yet I have no thoughts about what comes next.

A song plays in my head, marking a final countdown. What remains? What’s in store for me in the coming weeks? It’s unknown, but the plans are formulating overhead as we read and write.

Much gratitude for those who take time to read, ponder, and allow the inner workings of self to come forward. Grateful for the feedback, love shared, and, more importantly, the Dance with Inspiration. Deep Peace.

Artificial or Organic response?

We only need thirty people to form a group — reciprocating and joining each other in support. Similarly, invited to join another group — tooting the same horn — boosting our exposure.

I ponder the meaning of this — concluding — those who need to hear these words shall hear. Not forcing — tricking the system — to gain exposure, I return to my original thoughts — I write for those to receive what they need to receive.

Seeking an audience — organically — not artificially — like the sweeteners often added to beverages or alternatives. There is the fear of losing payouts — Medium’s recent changing scores — practicing non-attachment to the platform, staying true to the meaning and purpose of my words.

So many worries — not being able to write — getting enough reads — thankfully, I am free. Free to write — as my heart calls me to — inner and outer flow whispers words on this page.

Along with the growing trend of trying to crack the Medium code, there were recent fear-based posts regarding recent changes — cutting the payouts once again. I am grateful for what is received by Medium and will continue to follow my heart as my guide.
