Leaving Lyrics on the Page

Leaving Lyrics on the Page

Heart songs for all to hear

Entering sacred space
tortures of daily blowing in the winds
our heart calls us
to translate the cosmic dust
falling at our feet.

Both sides of the same coin
shadow and light dancing
as lovers learning to connect
from opposite worlds
apart and infinite discerning of truths.

Whispers of solace
calling an inner knowing
of what was and always will be
today and into tomorrow
nevermore squawks the raven.

Short-circuited memories
unfamiliar vibrational pulls
breathing into a deeper understanding
as to why brother squirrel buries his nuts
or hawk circles overhead.

We pause.

We breathe.

Transmuting and integrating realities
for all to witness
singing a new song
healing self and the world abound
we leave it on the page.

This piece was originally inspired by a comment left by Amy Marley. Sitting on my task pad for almost a year, a voice calls out and tell me it is time. I read the title and Ulf Wolf comes to mind, as he sings his lyrics for all to hear.

Sitting quietly with all our shadows and joyful moments, we learn and grow from each. Understanding we are exactly where we need to be, we instinctively sing for all or nobody to hear — the universe receives our song.

Thank you Diana C., Ravyne Hawke, Spyder, and the whole Know Thyself Heal Thyself family for sharing this dance.

Much gratitude for those who take time to read, ponder, and allow the inner workings of self to come forward. Grateful for the feedback, love shared, and, more importantly, the Dance with Inspiration. Deep Peace.
