Slow is the Grounded Tone

Blanketed by Winter’s Warmth

Slow is the grounded tone — deep breath into low winded sound — faint songs crackle of fire. Blanketed by winter’s warmth — heaviness — silence — whispering sacred songs.

Gradual quickened pace — voice rising with urgency — dipped in a crescendo of rushing wind. Faint drumbeats building — world spinning — light-speed.

Reactionary behavioral tune — squelching beliefs — willingness, openness — entering cavernous imagery. Abrupt pause — leaning into silence — sudden drop to a heartbeat hushed.

Silent —

our mindless monkey-mind racing — faster than global spin.

Shift —

soften voice — floating upward gentle as the bird calls — soft chimes, distant flute.

Stillness…

and aviary chorus, coming to our aid.

Return to opening phrase — lighter, more joyful — with wind softening — harp notes rising and waters replacing Canvas’ flow.

Blanketed by winter’s warmth — lightness, and rejoicing song.

Final crescendo — voice clear, heart-centered — choral voices swell — backdrop and bell tones ringing — faded breath.

Heart-song —

clearing the way.

First snowfall, promising six to twelve inches, not questioning the timing of things, looking forward to the blanketed silence of All That Is. In silence, songs surface — with a new heart’s flow.

Much gratitude for those who take time to read, ponder, and allow the inner workings of self to come forward. Grateful for the feedback, love shared, and, more importantly, the Dance with Inspiration. Deep Peace.
